The Leg & Footwork I exercises are:
Wide Heels, V-Heels, Wide Toes, V-Toes with variations.
VMOs.
The focus is:
Wide Heels & V-Heels with variations: Hip disassociation, activation of the lateral rotators of your hip (turn-out of thighs), quadriceps (front of thighs) & leg adductors (inner thighs).
Wide Toes & V-Toes with variations: Hip disassociation, activation of the lateral rotators of your hip, quadriceps, leg adductors & calves.
VMOs: Hip disassociation, activation of medial rotators of your hip (turn-in of thighs), eccentric vastus medialis obliquus (inner side of quadriceps near your knee) & calves.
This sequence is suitable for:
Low-risk apparently healthy intermediate-advanced Pilates Reformer instructors & students.
