The Leg & Footwork II exercises are:
Progressive Flex & Rise with the TheraBand, & Walking I, II, III, Hamstring Stretch & Side to Side.
The focus is:
Progressive Flex & Rise with the TheraBand: Stretching & activation of calves, plantar flexors (the underneath of your feet) & dorsi flexors (front of ankle), ankle stability, calf endurance, & triceps (back of your upper arms).
Walking I, II & III: Gastrocnemius stretch, soleus stretch & hip flexor stretch.
Hamstring Stretch: Gastrocnemius stretch, hip flexor stretch & co-activated hamstring stretch.
This sequence is suitable for:
Low-risk apparently healthy intermediate Pilates Reformer instructors & students.
You will need:
A Reformer & a TheraBand.
This sequence is part 4 of 9 segments of the Reformer xxii Class.
