The Core & Roller exercises are:
Parallel Heels with the TheraBand.
Parallel Heels Single Leg Side with the TheraBand.
Parallel Toes Curl Up with TheraBand.
Parallel Toes Curl Up Single Leg Side with TheraBand.
The focus is:
Heels: Core stability, balance, hip disassociation, & activation of hamstrings (back of thighs), dorsiflexors (front of lower leg & ankle), & leg abductors (outer thighs).
Toes: Core stability, balance, hip disassociation, spinal flexion, & activation of hamstrings, leg abductors, calves & plantar flexors (back & side of lower leg, & underneath of feet).
This sequence is suitable for:
Low-risk apparently healthy intermediate Pilates Reformer instructors & students.
You will need:
A Reformer, Long Foam Roller & a TheraBand.
