The Core & Roller exercises are:
Parallel Heels with the TheraBand.
Single Leg Circles with the TheraBand.
Parallel Toes Curl Up with TheraBand.
Single Leg Circles Curl Up with TheraBand.
The focus is:
Heels: Core stability, balance, hip disassociation, & activation of hamstrings (back of thighs), dorsiflexors (front of lower leg & ankle), & hip circumduction.
Toes: Core stability, balance, hip disassociation, spinal flexion, & activation of hamstrings, calves & plantar flexors (back & side of lower leg, & underneath of feet), & hip circumduction.
This sequence is suitable for:
Low-risk apparently healthy advanced Pilates Reformer instructors & students.
You will need:
A Reformer, Long Foam Roller & TheraBand.
