The Leg & Footwork II exercises are:
Progressive Flex & Rise with the Magic Circle, & Walking I, II & III.
The focus is:
Progressive Flex & Rise: hip disassociation, quadriceps (front of thighs), gluteal activation, dorsiflexors (front of lower leg & ankle), plantar flexors (back & side of lower leg, & underneath of feet), & pectoralis major & anterior deltoid (horizontal adduction, which involves your chest muscles).
Walking I, II & III: Gastrocnemius stretch, soleus stretch & hip flexor stretch.
This sequence is suitable for:
Low-risk apparently healthy intermediate-advanced Pilates Reformer instructors & students.
You will need:
A Reformer & Magic Circle.
This sequence is Part 3 of 10 segments of the Reformer x Class.
